Capoeira Kids Camp
WHO: Denver area youth - boys and girls - ages 6-18; Camp Director Mestre Rã (United Capoeira Association-São Paulo, Brazil), joined throughout the week by various other Brazilian capoeira mestres and with assistance from Canto do Galo Capoeira.
WHAT: Capoeira Kids Camp - an introduction to Capoeira, the Afro-Brazilian art form that combines music, martial arts, dance, and acrobatics into a fun and exciting game!
WHERE: La Alma Recreation Center, 1325 11th Ave. Denver, CO 80204. Just 1 block north of the Light Rail Station at 10th and Osage; 2 blocks south of Auraria Campus.
WHEN: All week, Monday through Friday April 21st-25th- Session 1: 3:30-5:00, Session 2: 4:30-6:00. (late arrivals/early departures OK)
HOW MUCH?: Only $20 for the entire week; $5 to drop in per day; Scholarships are available
